The Best Electric Car Yet!
Telsa has been around for a few years now and they seem to be
doing very well (they shouldn't go bust. The company is owned by the same guy that owns Paypal). Its an electric car that does the things a real car can. Their
cars acceleration are in the relms of supercars (0-60 MPH in 3.7), they have a
range of 245 miles (about 400km) and are electronically limited to 125mph
(about 200 kmph). They are nice looking cars and you can pick one up for under $50,000
USD. I probably spend about 10% of that on petrol every year so in the big
scheme of things, its not a bad idea. Check them out (http://www.teslamotors.com)
Tailored shirts for $30USD
iTailor (www.itailor.com) allows you to design
and customise shirts. You put in your measurements and in about a month, your
shirts turn up. I had some shirts made by iTailor. The quality of construction was
terrific. I couldn’t fault the way the shirt was made at all. The fabric was relatively
thick and would be best suited to winter. The cotton isn’t brilliant but you
really can’t go wrong for $30. I still comfortably wear them to meetings
however I would say it’s better to spend a few bucks more and go for the
organic fabrics. I haven’t had one made in organic cotton however if anyone
does, let me know what they are like. They make suits and ties as well. The
ties aren’t silk and are in plain colours. Unless you are after a very specific
size then you are probably going to find something like that at Hallensteins for
about the same price.
Art Gallery
If you have a bit of a creative flare to you and haven’t visited the new Auckland Art Gallery, this is a must do. I went along the other weekend to see the Degas to Dali exhibition (http://www.aucklandartgallery.com/whats-on/events/2012/march/degas-to-dal%C3%AD). This is a terrific exhibition and includes work from Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh, Dali and Warhol. It also includes many other pieces from other artists that you will fall in love with. This exhibition is on until the 10th of June so you still have plenty of time. Its $20 to get into this exhibition but defiantly worth it.
Take some time to walk around the rest of the gallery. There is some really incredible modern art that moves, making use of magnetic fields. I won't blab on about my discoveries, just get along there and make your own!
Pizza Burger?!?
I don't think this is comming to NZ anytime soon but Burger King has basically taken over the market with its all in one pizza burger. Is it a pizza in a burger or a burger in a pizza shape? I would think it to be similar to Subways pizza sub but 8 of them..... EPIC!

Electro Swing
This is a genre of music I have started listening to. It has the basic songs from when swing was dance music thrown in with what we call dance music today. It comes out with a poppy sounding symphony of old and new. Have a look at the videos below. The albums that I've been liking have been the Electro Swing range (Electro Swing 1,2 and 3) - look them up on Groove Shark :D

Sick Place For Unusual Clothing
My Work mate gets some really cool out there stuff. He
showed me the website he gets it from - www.kanacassecret.com.
I had a look through and the stuff that really stuck out to me was the boots
(yes they are very punk) and the watches (and yes I am a bit of a geek). I have
attached a picture of one of the watches with this post. Their shirts looked
like a really good fit for small build guys and were all a bit different. For
the price you really can't go wrong!

Most Exciting Eating Establishment Ever!
If you haven’t discovered The Secret Thai Garden yet you are seriously
missing out. It's priced well (about $20 per meal) and the food is pretty
amazing but that’s not the thing that makes this place so special. Its located
in south Auckland so after you have made sure you have locked your car five
times you see this little walkway to The Thai Garden. You are probably
thinking, well this looks like the sort of place they cook cats out the back
of. Don't turn back yet. Once you get through the entrance, you are greeted by
elephant tusks lining a resort styled entranceway. The entire place is filled
with Buda statues and other oriental decorations. It is a pretty amazing
experience. You feel like you are being taken to Narnia. I would suggest going
there while we have a little sunshine left. Don't miss out on this treat.

Why stop your night there though. If you want to continue with the oriental theme, visit Shanghai Lil's. It has to be one of the most interesting eccentric bars I have ever been to. It is jammed packed with Chinese antiques and themed around a 1930's brothel (don't worry, its not too raunchy). The owner brings the place to life and there is usually live music. Defiantly one not to miss if you’re up for a drink and plenty to look at. have a look around the place at:

keep your eyes peeled for when AppTag is released! It's gonna be mad!!!
Hey guys,
I think I’ve found the best App ever created (well its nearly there). Feast your eyes on AppTag (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jonatherton/apptag-laser-blaster). This is the next generation of laser strike. You clip your smartphone onto a nerf gun (I know! Awesome already!!!) and you play laser strike with your mates. But no it doesn't stop there! The app allows you to use different weapons, track other players locations and talk to your team through a walkie talkie!!! FREAKING AWSOME YA?!?!?!? The best bit of all is that these will cost under $40!!! I'll keep an eye out and let you know when its released!

GrooveShark
Hi guys,
Something that I have come across lately and have found to be great for listening to music on different computers I use (work, laptop, home and tablet) is Groove Shark (http://grooveshark.com/). This allows you to create and account that you can log into from any browser and create playlists. From here you can stream your music and use it just like a cloud based media player. The interface is easy to use and streaming music is usually very fast. I have started to use this on a daily basis because it is so practical.
